The Budgeting Buddies financial literacy campaign curriculum was designed to target students in all grades, focusing in on middle level education. The curriculum was designed around the fundamentals of financial literacy that were deemed important for students to have knowledge of in order to succeed and have a bright financial future.

The Budgeting Buddies team was founded through Bristol-Plymouth's DECA chapter. Their optimal goal is to spread awareness for students to learn the impact of being financially literate. The Budgeting Buddies supporting the movement towards the implementation of a financial literacy curriculum in the public education system within Massachusetts.
