DECA

Students will be introduced to S.M.A.R.T. goals and the importance of their application.  Furthermore, students will conceptualize how to use S.M.A.R.T. goal to benefit their personal financial future.

 

Step One: Pretest

• Students are to complete provided pretest containing questions pertaining to the keys components of S.M.A.R.T. goals to measure baseline of knowledge.

• Teacher answer key provided.

 

Step Two: Act S.M.A.R.T.

• Review what S.M.A.R.T. goals are and how hey can be used on a daily basis to accomplish tasks, especially to become financially literate

• Breakdown of S.M.A.R.T. goals provided.

• Students are to take time to analyze scenario using S.M.A.R.T. goals breakdown.

 

Step Three: Post Test

• Students are to complete provided post test containing questions pertaining to the keys components of S.M.A.R.T. goals from throughout the lesson to measure obtained knowledge.

• Teacher answer key provided.
