ABOUT
The Budgeting Buddies
The Budgeting Buddies financial literacy campaign was founded at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical Vocational School, located in Taunton, Massachusetts. Home of the Craftsmen, Bristol-Plymouth is located in Bristol County. The school has a population of over 1200 diverse young adults. The campaign used the support of teachers, students, chapter members, and the local community.

The overall purpose of this campaign is to provide an outlook on what financial literacy is as part of the future of today's generation. As members of this generation the factors that we found most imperative to financial literacy focus around budgeting, saving, spending, credit vs. debt. These factors are exactly the goal to instill with the Budgeting Buddies financial literacy campaign. Becoming successful starts with a solid understanding of personal finance.

Budgeting Buddies, CEO
The unique combination of these three young women set the foundation for the Budgeting Buddies promotional financial literacy campaign. Members of DECA (Distributive Educational Club of America) at their high school, (from left to right) Victoria, Rebecca, and Isabelle recognized the lack of financial literacy in the public school educational curriculum within their own community as well as throughout Massachusetts. This led the dynamic trio to the creation of the Budgeting Buddies, a financial literacy campaign in the Bristol County and surrounding area. The campaign consists of a curriculum that the three ladies had thoughtfully put together with partnerships from local businesses and banks, with the hopes of sparking students interest in their need for a bright financial future.
